“John Wayne was the highlight of our trip! Ask for him if he’s working as a driver. Such a nice guy! They were also very accommodating when we needed to make a train quickly. Thank you to the front desk for arranging that! The room lights were very tricky and randomly came on in the middle of the night. That was our only complaint! Otherwise a very lovely stay. Thank you!”

“My husband and I stayed four nights at the White Elephant for our babymoon - 10/10 for service, rooms, location, noise-level. Gabby + front desk staff were welcoming and helpful to provide us local recommendations throughout our stay. The valet + car service staff was kind and quick. Elaine and Ana were fantastic housekeepers. The WhatsApp text line to the hotel made it simple to schedule housekeeping as we were in/out of the room, get picked up by the house car locally, request late checkout, etc. As the other reviews mention, the pool area is very intimate but we had no issues with it.”

“It was an amazing time! My family had so much fun. The hotel was spectacular! Shoutout to Xavier. He drove us around everywhere we needed to go and was always happy to do it. Also shout out to John Wayne. His service and driving were also incredible. The kindness that he showed us was above and beyond. “Exceptional all around. I wish there were a White Elephant in every city! The staff is incredible - the best of hospitality, very professional and also genuinely welcoming and friendly, they made us feel at home and went out of their way to anticipate our needs and accommodate requests. The reception was wonderful, the bell staff I can't say enough about, both Xavier and Damian made sure we got to and from wherever we needed to be in style and with smiles and helpful information. To top it off the whole place is beautiful. From the exterior of the building to the smallest hardware in the rooms, the attention to detail and design is apparent.”

“The White Elephant most definitely lived up to the hype! Not only was this location perfectly situated on the island to enjoy all of the local establishments, but it was beautifully appointed and did not feel corporate or cheesy in any manner. We stayed in a lovely suite that was ready ahead of schedule and able to accommodate our early arrival. The staff was attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming, always present without being overbearing. Every detail, from the linens to the lighting, felt thoughtfully curated. It’s clear the team takes great pride in delivering a high level of service without making it feel scripted. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommend!”
